Please note in new version of Windows 10,the Superfetch service has been renamed "SysMain". If you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, this does not affect you.

Is this fix high cpu too?
I disabled all the services on my computer and right now, I'm back at using my laptop.

thanks for the video I guess, but what exactly does changing the regedit value to 4 do?
Thanks man, when I go to task manager it always says my CP is using 60% of my memory. After this regedit tweak, it literally lowered the usage to 20%. Thanks.
Tried both methods, usage went from 80% to about 25%. Thank you for the tutorial my friend.
I'm always of the opinion of do the least possible to fix something in case you do something that makes matters worse and I am pleased to say your first suggestion worked very well for me. Well done.

I currently have Windows Defender Services consuming nearly 100% of my CPU usage. Do you know how to fix that?
My situation is like absolute shit.. From turning on chrome, and nothing else, I have 90% memory usage. My PC just dies after like 2 hours of using it. And since online classes are a thing now, I usually disconnect from the call in the middle of a test and when I come back the teachers don't allow me to continue in case I looked up some answers. Fuck, this is way too long. Ok bye
the first method actually fixed my cpu rather than my memory XD
